Cinnamon Peanut Butter Oats

This oat bowl is so easy but don’t take your eyes off these sneaky oats while they are in the pot otherwise they will stick and burn on the bottom. Daniel usually makes the oats but I gave it a go this morning and he forgot to mention that you need to keep stirring so I got to make the mistake so you don’t have to!

  1. 1 cup almond milk or any non-dairy milk

  2. 1 cup water

  3. 1 cup old fashioned oats

  4. 1 tsp salt

  5. 1 tsp cinnamon

  6. dollop peanut butter

  7. ¼ cup fruit

  8. ¼ cup raisins

Bring the water and milk to boil in a small pot.

Add the cinnamon, salt, and oats. Stir frequently until most of the liquid has been absorbed and boiled away, about 5 minutes.

Scoop into bowls and add the peanut butter, fruit and raisins. Enjoy!

What are you guys up to this weekend? I’m going to a yoga class in the park this morning and then I think we will go have lunch at Veg Fest here in Charlotte. I’ve gone the last two years and love seeing all the vendors and eating delicious food! Who’s with me?
